I've embarked on reading Sun Stand Still by Steven Furtick, Founder and Lead Pastor out of Elevation Church in Charlotte. The tag for this book is this, "What happens when you dare to ask God for the impossible"! Im embarking on the realization of this question and its answer!
Today, I read the first chapter of Sun Stand Still. The Chapter, Welcome To Audacious Faith, seem to be setting me up for a great deal of life and mind changing truths that are to come. As I was reading the chapter, the following stood out to me:
"This book is not a snuggie. The words on these pages will not go down like Ambien. Im not writing to calm  or coddle you. With God's help, I intend to incite a riot in your mind. Trip your breakers and turn out the lights in your favorite hiding places of insecurity and fear. Then flip the switch back on so that God's truth can illuminate the divine destiny that may have been lying dormant inside you for years.
In short, Im out to activate your audacious faith. To inspire you to ask God for the impossible. And in the process, to reconnect you with your God-sized purpose and potential"
This has made me question the last few years of my life, not in any sort of regret, but in a retrospect of mapping out where Ive been and evaluating. It also made me think of the possibilities if I can tap into what is already within me and to grow that type of spirit. What WOULD happen if I dared to believe, dared to dream, dared to do!? What would happen if I really saw a need and really worked hard to fill that need!?
Im excited for the future. I want to dream of the BIG things; the impossible things!
