So today was a gem. As we walk out our relationship within these challenges, it's comforting to know that we both are looking at our schedules and finding that five minutes here and there.
Simone is pretty incredible and puts up with the demands of my schedule with minimal complaint. I often say, my life is just not fair to her because it doesn't truly allow for quality time with her, a need that she has.
I'm working on it though. I've been steadily trying to set things into motion that will create balance. Balance in life is essential. So that means there are things that I will need to let go off, big things. There are things that I will need to say no to. This is not just for my relationship, but for my life as well. Even though the things I do are good things, it does not mean they are for me right now.
Anyway, I loved the hour that I was able to have with Simone today. Not sure when I will get that again.
