Marriage & Ministry
Anyone married and in full-time ministry knows that it is a rigorous calling and your life is not your own. As a young married, it's hard to know where the line is that separates the responsibilities of ministry and that of your marriage. Even before being married, I knew ministry was hard work. You endured long hours, carried a lot of burden and responsibility on your shoulders, desired more for people you led, so on and so forth. When you get married NONE of that changes. So the question becomes, what is more important? Your marriage or your ministry?
Pastor Jude Fouquier, Lead Pastor at The City Church in Ventura California, speaks to Jordan Boyce about Marriage and Ministry in the short video below. It brings such great clarity to young pastors and leaders. Take a look and discover what he says should be the most important aspect in your "ministry".
